Design & Analysis
Bringing a project from conceptual design to production ready
Mechanical & Design Engineering
RCM’s Engineering team supports the design, development, and manufacturing of aircraft, spacecraft, naval vessels, land vehicles, and other related systems with the primary goal of creating safe, dependable, and efficient products while minimizing costs and delivering to schedule. This is achieved through mastery of industry leading tools such as CATIA V5, V6 & 3DX, as well as SOLID WORKS, PTC CREO and Unigraphics NX. RCM also has a rich knowledge base of legacy tools including CATIA V4, CADRA, AutoCAD and even ink on mylar.

Electrical Engineering
As part of our Systems Engineering support, RCM Aerospace provides complete electrical and electronic engineering support from conceptual design, through integration, test and validation. From requirements generation to project completion, we follow the processes that comply with DO-178/DO-254 standards.
We provide engineering support for embedded devices such as PLDs, FPGAs, DSPs, and ASICs in aerospace, space, maritime, and land-based systems.
Stress Analysis (Metallics/ Composite)
At RCM, stress analysis is a critical discipline that ensures the safety and reliability of engineered components and structures, product repairs and fleet support. In evaluating loads and their effects, engineers can optimize designs, prevent failures, and create robust and durable solutions. RCM’s experience with NASTRAN, PATRAN, ANSYS and other analysis tools offer powerful capabilities for modeling, simulating, and analyzing complex systems and structures.

Quality Engineering
Our quality engineers specialize in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our customers’ products, systems, and processes. They ensure compliance with stringent industry standards and regulations such as ISO9000, AS9100, all applicable FAR, FAA, and DOD regulations. By applying extensive knowledge from many relevant disciplines, our team can perform 6 SIGMA process capability analysis, lead continuous improvement initiatives, conduct audits, and assist in Manufacturing Readiness assessments to ensure first pass yield, reliability, safety, and performance.
