Problem

Late 1980s – early 90s the AIRCRAFT CARRIER Enterprise CVN-65 had all paper technical manuals and documentation.

Solution

Removed documentation from the ship and replaced with CD based media.

Results

Quicker search capability and caused the ship to float ~2.5′ higher in the water.

The increased storage allowed the ship to carry additional equipment, stores and munitions.
